Cabinet / Sump section lighting - what did you use?

LED strips from ebay will last for ages.
I use one in my livingroom as a night light for the kids for over 5 years and it's on every night all night.

My sump area is using only 2 of the 3 light strips.
I like these since the LED's are inside a small plastic housing, and includes mounting hardware, and has a switch I mounted on the back corner outside my stand.

I have an LED strip connected to a mercury switch. When the door is opened, it goes on right away and when door is closed, it hits the nipple and turns off the light right way

I use this rechargeable LED bar. I recharge it about once every 1-2 months. Works great. Only complaint is that the shut off timer isn't adjustable. I'd like it to stay on a bit longer, but it comes back on with a simple wave of the hand.

could you run a usb charger full time? My power bar has two usb out lets.
