Cade Chaos Grimoire

Update from husband while I stuff my face between counting: all hardee board siding and the pillars are done, we also had the other tub installed at some point.

Got an ice maker - it makes the good ice.

Yes I'm just eating ice - mind your business.

Little more progress....

Doors and garage door aren't painted yet. Shutters aren't up, there's some other random stuff outside on the house itself that aren't done (some very obvious).

Driveway was poured today.

We had to drop off all the stuff for the electrician by the 13th, but nothing has actually happened with any of that yet.

Replaced the sensor on my roller today, so far so good. The old one even after being cleaned really well just wanted to continuously roll.

Out of peroxide for my oxydator, going to order some today if I can find the stronger stuff online at all still .

Serpent star living fine in the sump - leaving the sump damsel alone.

oh man! It looked like a really good looking CBB. I'm really sorry :(
Did better than any other one I have gotten... only 2 attempts even made it better alive & my tangs abused the last one.

It was picking at aiptasia too but I guess not enough to support it. Definitely didn't see it eat during feedings.... Or there was something internal going on.

Sad update:
Caught Cubert stuck to a powerhead again last night, turned them off to release him and noticed he seemed a lot weaker than usual.

Checked on him this morning and he was hunkered down in a little sand burm he seemed to have created. Fed the tank, he came up and ate, then went back down there. Left the powerheads off for now - not sure what's going on. I can't see any physical injuries on him but I'm very concerned. He has definitely been eating, he has a little chubby tummy so I think it's enough. My powerheads aren't even on very strong, but if he swims below them he gets sucked right in.

Dang looks great!

Cubert doing any better this morning?
Happy birthday handsome boy!
I've been awake for over an hour but I'm being very stubborn and not leaving the bedroom yet so I'm not sure :thinking-face:

Last night he seemed about the same though

I'm coffee'd and fed, Skeletor got fancy breakfast and a surprise snack, tank is fully awake.... no signs of Cubert. I'm very sad about this.

Tonight when I get home from work Skeletor gets his giant Lambchop toy, and some doggy icecream to round off his birthday celebrations.

Tomorrow he gets a bath, and we're headed to visit my family for my brothers birthday. Skeletor likes road trips and car rides so it'll be a good day for him.

Last night we swung by the house because we were headed to Lowes (and it's conveniently right down the street) to find 2 surprises.

1. The interior plumbing was all done! This is one of the things we had zero communication on regarding time framing.

2. Something weird pooped on our driveway.

You're welcome for that.

From what we can figure this is what's left:
  • Electrical testing by city
  • Blow in insulation to attic (cannot happen until city testing passed)
  • Deliver fridge & oven
  • Install fridge, oven, hood, and finish install on dishwasher (water was hooked up by plumber)
  • Closet guy
  • Soffits (this couldn't happen until exterior paint was done, it's done now)
  • Deliver/install AC unit and handler (was waiting on pad to be poured with driveway, that's sitting there now)
  • Paint and hang shutters
  • Paint garage door and front door
  • Landscaping guy
Then punch-out which has a whole list of things that'll need to be fixed already.

Fingers crossed we're in before Dec ends.
