Cade Chaos Grimoire

This hobby can make you feel overwhelmed at times. Adding new fish is always stressful cause you never know how it will turn out. Several times I have thought about just selling everything and getting out. But then I read on here about someone else having worse issues and I see all the support people give and I re-think everything. You got this, even if that means rehoming a fish or two! Or maybe things will settle down and work out.
This right here ^^^

I know I would miss it, just infuriating
F Damsels...
I was on the fence about the whole lot of them even coming into the cube. Eventually I felt like I owed the dumb clowns.

I really do think I'm going to spend Sunday playing fishing

Just a wee bit of fog

We had some nasty fog yesterday too. The good thing is that fish are easy to catch when you drain out the water. So just make I to the move and look at that as your reboot.

I'm trying, I really should have left them behind in the tank transfer. I was on the fence about all of the damsel/clown herd at the time. Let my dumb weak human emotions guilt me into keeping them.

NOT THIS TIME

When I reboot after the move, the Cade is getting the dusky, betta, foxface. I want to do firefish, anthias, cherubs, etc. A lot more fairly chill fish (excluding the dusky lol - but he's good with other fish at least, just higher energy)

New Years resolutions:
  • Real work/life balance - setting boundaries with the team - please only reach out to me on my days off if there's fire/flood/blood.
  • If it doesn't bring joy, it leaves (ie, rude fish that bite me)
  • Eat real meals, regularly.
  • Be weird.

Happy New Year's everyone!

These are good! If say lots of blood rather than just blood though.

Happy new Year!

We planted our first potatoes at the absolute wrong time of the year. And harvested them today when we should have been planting them :face-with-tears-of-joy: (we did plant new as well)

I did not take the time to catch the resident twats. But I did take a decent amount of time just hanging out with nature and the vegetable garden. We planted brussel sprouts, mustard, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, and the new potatoes. We also replaced the dud spinach capsules on the hydro tower with romaine lettuce instead (so that now has lettuce, collard greens, and kale).

I also got an ebook delivery of Brandon Sanderson's new book. It was a Kickstarter where you get a book a quarter, not mad about it.

Oh, and my indoor mushroom kit is doing beautifully. We'll probably just start a bin & inoculate in the future.

Forgot photos, I'm a mess

Bonus, I'm halfway through printing my planters, here's my organized chaos. It's even a top down, I'm kinda relevant to the hobby right now lol
