Cade Chaos Grimoire

Sorry about the car troubles. Diagnosing without codes is no fun.

How old is the battery? My husband buys junk cars and many times people think they don't run or have loads of problems and the first thing he does is put a new battery in and see if that helps. So many electric problems can intermittently happen from a bad battery. We've saved many from the scrapper from a new battery alone.

Replaced within the last 12 months, don't recall exactly when, but it's a newer one

Drove it around a second time - still seems to be functioning normal. Hopefully that's the end of it. Still kinda nervous to drive to work tomorrow.

3 days of work, then closing & moving.

I think I'm having a reaction to the laundry detergent his parents switched to - my dermatographia has gotten significantly worse the last couple weeks. Sitting in the dining room chair is causing flare ups on the back of my legs where pressure is applied. I woke up with lines down my arm where the sheet folds put pressure.... Last time I bought more detergent to switch back (they were using the same as us initially) - but this time she beat me to it and got something else yet again because it was on sale.

Could also be a stress reaction causing it to get worse, has been a stressful few weeks w/ holidays and house building stuff and extra family being in this house since mid dec....

Anyway, trying to decide if it'll come across as rude if I buy our own detergent to wash everything before we move, or if I should wait until we move and just do the laundry load in the new house :thinking-face:

I'm so itchy.

I don’t think it’s rude, if they say anything just tell them you think it’s making you itchy and you may be allergic.

I hope you feel better

Thanks, going to take an allegra and hope for the best today. I'm also just not sure if it's worth it when it's only a few more days.

Also, happy new year! Hope this one treats you very well!

Also thanks! You too.

I would at least run a load or two of the things you know your going to need or use for during and after move. That way your at least more comfortable. Then when your all set up run everything at the new place.

Probably gonna be MIA for a little bit while we pack, close, move in - internet setup will be Sunday so my only option will be via phone if I'm getting online.

We're back to considering peninsula again :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Couch gets delivered Tuesday the 9th. We bounced back to regular tank because we didn't want the couch + tank to obstruct too much. Then we found a completely different couch we liked and bought that instead. Now we're looking at bar planning across the other side and reconsidering peninsula to open up more bartop space along that wall.

So here's your challenge #Cronies

Design me aquascapes for a 48x24x28 peninsula tank (approx 133g display) vs aquascapes for 48x24x24 standard style tank (approx 114g display).

You have 2 weeks to present your plannings. You all win my eternal gratitude. I hate designing aquascapes.

What existing corals will be making the move? What is the planned coral mix for the new tank if known?
Looking at LPS: euphyllia, meats, plates, goni, alveopora, maybe a chali or 2 (not sure yet)

Only stuff moving into that tank from the current will be minimaxis, st thomas mushroom, & some of the fish. All the softies should be staying put - they just need a redesign as well. If ya'll wanna do a 24x24x24 cube for seahorses w/ softies lol

Gorgonia coral. That would be epic may need more flow than seahorses can take

I wanted to add nps gorgs in that tank actually, yes.

Good idea.

You’ll love the Penni!!! I’ll never go back to any other tank! 2-3 islands look good and give you plenty of space for coals and water movement.. I have 2 islands in mine but they’re close together because of lighting on such a large tank gets pricey… some day I’ll move them apart and switch lights but I’m happy with it for the time being.
