If anyone can help please? I recently purchased a Geos Reef calcium reactor and a Kameor FX-STP feed pump. I cannot get the feed pump to start a syphon for pulling the water to my tank, Does anyone have any suggestions before I throw the whole unit in the street? thanks.

Fill the reactor with water first.
What ATAquariums said. After filling the reactor as much as possible. Seal it and then crank your pump high to pull fast. You may need to tilt your reactor some to allow air bubbles to move and get pushed out.

I have a hose off my return to put slight pressure on the line to my reactor and pull through the reactor. HTH

is this a new kamoer pump? Is it spinning but no siphon ?
Then the issue is this -
You need move the white plastic bit from the right of the black thing to the left of the black thing.

I would definitely test with just the two pump lines and a bucket of water if you haven’t. Rule out whether it’s the pump or something else blocking the flow
