I have a ro/di filter for my ato so I can make water. Looks like the Red Sea coral salt is good?

A lot of people like that one for sure (including myself). I’ve used the Red Sea blue bucket, Fritz, Brightwell, Reef Crystals, and Tropic Marin all with great results too. Currently I’m using Fritz.

I have tried every type of salt. I use Instant Ocean, it's very popular and more affordable that most.

First off if your tank is only 1 month old I'd relax with just about everything you're doing. The tank is still new and still balancing out. Not sure I would've added coral yet but to each their own. I'd definitely question the test kit (or how you're using it). Also, if you're having problems keeping calcium up I wouldn't doubt your Alkalinity is off

+1. I use the Reef Crystals. The alkalinity is about 10 dkh which I really like.
