Hi All,

For anyone who has these... and having success I was wondering what your setting are?

Reds, Green, Blue & White %
How high above the tank are they
Do you have any other lighting with it, T5 or other LED

I have the marine ic pro mounted 4” above the tank with B100% W50% G&R25%. I have no additional lighting but thinking about a T5.

Any thoughts would be great

It’s a matter of preference I think those lights are 100+ par at 12”
So also depends an what you plan to accomplish
Would be fine for soft corals but lacking in power for sps
On the light intensity 100% blue is to much for me I like a white light 25% like I said preferences
How big is your tank depth x length x height

I also have the ic settings at 75% blue 25% white in the evening. 6 bulb T5’s during home time for 8 hrs with 3 channels

Oops. I prefer the T5’s over the led lights. Led lights just for the blue effect and shimmer

I have the ic pro version but have had three different current USA models on this tank. Mine is sitting on the rim of my 12 gallon long which puts it about 8-9 inches from the sand. I have my blues at around 80% and whites around 20%. Reds are 80% and green 40%.

Doing mainly Softy with a couple easy LPS

Corals recently added
Ultra Green Zoa
Purple Pulsing Xenia
Snow White Toadstool
Purple Candelabra Gorgonian
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG GALAXEA
Fuzzy Pulsing Sinularia
CR’s Mandarin Orange Cloves
Neon Green Frilly

Currently everyone is at the bottom on a frag rack.

I have them at 100 blue, 40 white, 10 green/red. I supplement with 3 t5 as well and am able to grow sps. I dont think you can grow sps without t5 supplementation.

I personally had the 2 currents... replaced them with Radion xr30s in less than a month. Not bad lights but tank looks way different after the upgrade.

Okay... maybe this is a dumb question... maybe I just don’t get how lights work... but if these lights are not the most powerful why not just turn all colors up to 100%?

No dumb questions in this hobby lol. Before picture is 100% on currents and second is 40% on radions... shows the difference I think.

I have an orbit marine, just the one with two colors. I have made a deal with a member here and will be buying his IC loop set, since my powerheads are the Loop powerheads.

Personally im a fan of Current USA. While they may not be the strongest lights, i love the look and the color spectrum. I cannot speak on the IC loops yet. But when i had the planted+ on my fw tanks with the ramp timer, i really enjoyed the growth i got from my easier lower light plants.

I have the 24-36” orbit marine ic pro dual w/Bluetooth mounted on the rim of my IM Nuvo 20g, so probably only about 13” or so off the sand. I have my blues at 100%, whites at 30%, and red and green at 0% for the daylight setting, with blues at 50% only for the ramp up and ramp down sunrise and sunset. Curious as to what others have set as well as I haven’t done a par measurement and my tank is only about 5 months old, but these settings seem to be keeping a variety of LPS frags and zoa’s just fine.

I have the pro ic unit 48” currently have blue 100% white 30% red and green 5% during daylight and keep 60% blue and 5% red during moonlight hours light runs for 10 Hours max. Currently selling the units though as im looking to start sps and need a stronger light
