Yeah me too. Some good news for once! This was a massive upgrade as it has given me roughly 50 more gal of water volume! Sump is 60x20x20!

Good thing I had to give up my tickets to address this sump issue. Heaven forbid I saw that overwhelming performance! What a game.

Sorry for the loss. It always sucks when you have to learn lessons in this hobby because many of them are only learned in hindsight.

there is an old saying in aviation.

nothing more useless than the runway behind you, the fuel left in the fuel truck, or the altitude above you.

A controller (an Apex would have alerted you in the middle of the night with a text/email of the power failure) and a good automatic power loss back up plan are must for any aquarium over 40 gallons. IMHO.

again, the Apex with a leak detector would have caught the leak as soon as it started.
Leaks, spills and the occasional 10-30 gallons of water on the floor happens to everyone. Nature of having a 100-200 gallon box of water sitting in the middle of our homes.

The thing that may be most aggravating is indo have an apex, and an ALD, but of coarse for some reason my fusion was not working and my connection was lost, so even though I have the email alerts set up, it did not work for me this particular time![emoji35]

Do you have your internet router on a battery back up too ? People forget that little snag in their emergency plan

I do not! In fact, I will add that to the "emergency plan" as that is my next priority at this point. Thanks!

Thanks, I do not have an emergency drain, so I will talk with my bud about adding one. I have a drain in my fish room that would be easily utilized for this. Appreciate the thoughts!
