I agree, I am not convinced it is majano. They do grow in groups but they are not so evenly sized. There is usually older, larger ones that then produce tiny ones. This looks very different.If the rock is from the Caribbean there are a ton of LPS that hitch hike in. Brush or squirt some water at it and see if there is a skeleton.
I have some mojano, they don't really bother anything but they will get everywhere if you don't watch. I will remove some as I can.
