Can i get an ID for this anemone?

Just got this nem from my LFS

He said its a green bubble tip anem (doubtfull)

Is this a Ritteri anem?

It went in for 2 clowns and walked out with this and 2 clowns

It has a really pretty green glow on the tips but seems to be moving away from a lot of flow and likes the light

Maybe someone else can guess better, but it's hard to tell when he's in that pose. (Don't think bubble tip tho.)

Yeah hard to tell in that photo but I agree, not a BTA. Could be a ritteri. Gotta get a photo of it opened. Weird mistake for a LFS to make.

Its a really bright green tip but the tentacles arent as long nor as wide as a bubble tip is. I will today, i only bought it cause it was about $50 and when it was closed its aboiut the size of a pool ball

Looking at that pic id say it looks like a ritteri. It looks bleached. What kind of lights did the lfs have it under and what kind do you have it under now?

It was under a dimable LED located high in the tank but mounted under the side of a rock with very low flow. I have a reef breaders led setup. It did look bleached and i had put it toward the bottom of my tank last night. It was getting zero flow and low light there but moved up toward the light slightly and has a little random flow on it. Just enough to give it some nice movement. I tried pushing it a little (played with it gently) and it was on there solid.

The white stripes/streaks near the mouth and the non puckered mouth make me really think it is an E. quadricolor.

i have a green bubble tip that looks similar (especially when i first got him cause it didnt look like it was fed often enough so the tenticles weren't as "fat" as they are now that i give it regular direct feedings). it also doesnt dig a direct heavy flow so he centered himself at the lowest rock on the very bottom of my tank almost dead center of the tank, so he seems to enjoy the mild/indirect flow. the color is a light, almost glow in the dark green and the footing is light pinkish.

They look exactly the same in the beginning and at night the mouth will open just like a rit and in the AM it will close up tight

From the base and the oral disk it's 100% a bleached bubble tip, I spent 4 years dedicating my tank to bta's before hurricane sandy took out my home. Feed it extremely well cut up scallops and and shrimp it will get its color back with time and some care. Best of luck

Should i keep it in low light? currently its latched on pretty well where it is and seems to have gotten some better color after a couple days. Its not going to want to move. Its hosted and the clowns are currently in a QT until i could figure out what was going on with it. Should the clowns be introduced or would that stress out the nem too much?

Lighting shouldn't be an issue as long as you have a consisted lighting schedule. Keep the clowns away as they wi stress it out more. Give it time to strengthen up. Good luck it took me a little over a month to get a crystal clear Rbta pink again but it can be done

These are suppose to be the same anemones? What is the time difference b/t those pictures? (( if the same anemone ))
