Can some one ID this?

I was inspecting for glass anemone and came across this in my tank. If I touch it it withdraws a litttle, but doesn't go in like an anemone, and it doesn't close like a zoa/paly. It's grey/black with some white/light green flecks. Doesn't really fluoresce under actinics...maybe a little. Has short Tenticles...maybe a bit of a bulb at end.

to me it almost sounds like you are describing a majano with bulb on end. When you say bulb is it like bubble tip

I should say I a few aiptasia. Actually been treating with lemon juice and think I've got them all. So this definitely looks different than that. The center may have a slight purple hue. The only thing that happens when touched is the Tenticles disappear. But the face is still there. Doesn't close up or turn into a ball or withdraw into a hole. Seems kind of fleshy. It's not huge. At first I thought it was an odd zoa with a short skirt. But doesn't close up like one. And I feel it looks different than any majano pictures I've seen. Just curious.

After seeing those pictures, I think it looks more like an Aiptasia than anything else. I would treat it as so and get rid of it. GL.

On a side note; I've heard that Aiptasia from the Gulf of Mexico look different than Aiptasia from other parts. You might want to look into that.

Interesting. If it is aiptasia from the gulf...it looks way different than the aiptasia I've been getting rid of already.
Edit: The only thing I feel it's not aiptasia or any anemone is because it doesn't ball up and withdraw like an anemone. Face/mouth is still visible.

Yeah doesn't look like any of those. Wish I could get a better picture. compared to aiptasia in my tank, and of pictures ive seen, it's Tenticles are so small relative to its body. In fact with the naked eye you can't really see tenticles. First time I noticed them was in photos I took. They're more like nubbins...lol. the thing that leads me to think it's not an anemone is that it doesn't close up or shrink up like an anemone. When I touch it, the tenticles go into its body...kind of telescopically.

Here is an updated photo. I still haven't done anything about it. No new one sprouting about like all the aiptasia trying to get a hold of the tank (berghia Nudibranch to the rescue!). Any how any new thoughts?

From this picture it looks like a baby Fungia coral.
