LOL, he asked someone to ID his clown fish and this thread turned into a how to get nems to host clown fish thread... just thought that was funny....

Thought it was funny myself, just mentioned clowns not hosting the bta as a added bonus and never got an answer to my original question in this thread lol.

i think just give it another week play more videos i played them threw out day for several days .have you fed nem yet? see if clowns steal the food i think they will still host just need more time .

Think I'm just going to leave them be, I've fed the BTA numerous time, loves to eat, in my last tank I had 2 very small BTA's and my gosh they grew SO FAST with regular feeding, faster than anything ever has for me.

I'm having the same issue with my clowns. They aren't hoisting my BTA either. I saw a video of a guy who took a clear pipe and stuck it close to his anemone and then dropped the clowns into the tube and they just kind found their way down to the anemone and started hosting it.

That's not some guy, that's Marc Levenson and his channel is melevsreef on YouTube and he also has a website by the same name. Super smart reefer, tons of knowledge on his channel.

So what type of clowns are they ??? I read to the end and have been disappointed

i posted in one of them my spelling sucks so i abrevated OC i beleve black ices are ocelarus not positive and it did take the OC longer to host i think there more compatable with carpets

Cool thanks for that, they also have some blue tint like frostbites, you can actually see it on the larger clown but the blue isn't so obvious in the picture but you notice it goes from white to bluey greyish at the edge in the pic.
