Can someone tell me what this "algae" is?

This junk is seriously crazy. I can siphon it out into a sock and by the time I'm halfway through the tank it's back. I don't have a huge tank either. It comes back within a couple minutes.

I have the same issue.... I wish someone knew what it was and how to get rid of the stuff...

Well I siphoned as much as I could with a 1/4 tube into a bucket and changed approx. 3 gallons...

Lights out for 2 days... Hope everything makes it...

I scrubbed out and changed the media in the reactors, cleaned all the mechanical filtration and cleaned the glass...
