Evening,

Been checking out the build. Stand looks great. I am not sure if anything will come of removing the excess silicone that was from the squeeze out when the panels were bonded. I will say I would not have done it simply because it is an extra barrier. But, 1/2 of my silicone on my 11 year old tank is gouged away anyway so hopefully no issues.

I am wondering about the sump. What make is that. I am not familiar with it. The drain portion is not sectioned off from the skimmer box. Not sure what the other section is for. May be designed for a different application.

Sump is a Pro-Clear Red Flex 4-in-1 200 with missing parts!
But between what I paid for it and procuring the need parts...I'm all in at approx $150.00

So I'm thinking of taking half a day off tomorrow...ripping everything out, drill the tank for a herbie overflow.
Just gotta keep an eye out for my neighbor so he could help me with the getting the tank out the house after help getting it in the house :D

Evening,

So, ive been looking and I honestly someone flipped the panels on that sump. Dd you purchase it new? Sorry if I missed it . If you Google you sump, and almost any sump, socks and drain are always on the left. I may suggest contacting the manufacturer

Even their website has it flipped unless i am missing something, which is always possible :D :D

No you did not miss anything...sump is backwards! It was purchased that way thru online classified.
While I did contact the manufacture....they were little help since it wasn't purchased thru "authorized channels"
I wasn't expecting a new sump but a little support getting the few spare items that were missing.
I can live with a backward sump for the price I paid...and a little extra plumbing work.
