is this similar to candy apple orange?it doesnt look like the ones above but a bit there...
t5's with halides,color went darker than when i first got it...must be the halides

sorry to hijack...just wanna know...got this as rainbow paly not sure what kind but colors have oranges,pinks,greens and skirts are mixed...its bright

i found a pic it of when i first got this rainbow paly
with flash

and without flash just t5 lighting(im not running halides yet)

so im thinking its either mine needs to color up or a different morph...

These guys seem to take awhile to color back up after fragging. They were much brighter when I first got them. You'll have to take my word for now...

I don't know how much clearer it could be. The zoaid pics are red and mine are more orange. How orange does it have to be to qualify as a candy apple orange?

I am going to tell you all a little secret. Candy Apple Reds morph to Candy Apple Orange and the rainbow when under high light. Trust me on this.

I have experienced something similar. My reds became pale and looked orangish when they were under high light. Also the reds are more intense under MH than t5. Under t5 they are red but not RED ( you know what I mean).
