Can't find my Peppermint Shrimp!

Tank is about 2 months old. I understand they hide well and I hope that's the case. But I'm leaning towards it not being the case cus I have my Aquascape layed out kinda where I can see into most spaces. It's not too densely packed.

Look around the tank near rocks, where the sand looks dugout. Mine burrowed caves under the rocks and hang out at the opening during the day and come out mostly at night.

One is always hanging upside down in his cave, just watching me.

They could be hanging upside down if your landscape allows it. When you feed the tank they usually come out of their hiding place.

Yea they were visible and always coming out and I could always see where they would rest/sleep but nothing anymore. What a freakin mystery!!

Hi guys, I have (had?) 2 peppermint shrimps in the tank for about 2-3 weeks. Now I can't find one if them for the past 2 days. I only have 2 clowns n a cuc in the tank. Would one of the shrimp kill the other? If it did I hvnt even seen any remains. Do they prey in there own? I had read they are communal. Maybe it's hiding? Let me know if you have any experience with these guys? Thanks

I was looking for mine too. I found 2 in the filter sock and 3 in the corner return water area. All are back in the tank and doing well :)
