Can't get RO/DI water

RO/DI unit is always a good choice. Gives you control over your water quality.

Also check your LFS. All of them here sell both saltwater and RO/DI water.

I would think there are some reefers from the Seattle area that could help you out. Maybe try posting in the local forum here or Facebook to see if anyone is near you that has water on hand and would be willing to help out.

FWIW, it's a mess around me too. My local Costco has no fresh meat at all. The frozen stuff is going fast. TP is sold out in 95% of the stores. Non perishables are also just about sold out as well.

Edit;
Really hope stores start rationing around me. It really is a mess right now.

I’ve seen people recommend distilled water, which it sounds like what you may be taking about as I’ve never seen ro/di on any shelves for sale around here. Did you contact fish stores around you? Petco has premixed saltwater for sale if it’s an emergency situation
Petco is far away and Imahve no car

Maybe the OP's system was already crashing and they're saying they need SW for water changes, not that it's crashing due to lack of RO?
After using Instant Ocean Marine Conditioner to make SW, things looked good, since last post. Green hair algae has now started to bloom as well as a brown diatom bloom with lots of bubbles clinging to rock surfaces during the daylight cycle. I assume this is because of nitrates and silicates in my tap water. Fish look ok now. Clown has cleared one cycle of ich, but now neon goby has it, polyps are all open on Xenia and mushroom looking good. Purchased a RO/DI system but apartment loby closed because of...you know what...so no packages can get in

In situations such as that I would reccomend (this is just a patch, keep in mind) using a britta filter and at the very least it will be free from chlorine.

Having your own system will be worth every cent from the day you get it running, they're great to have
Also worth having for drinking and cooking water.

Is the RODI Buddy sold out on Amazon?..I think it was under $60 when I bought mine...arrived in 2 days
