I currently carbon dose with No3Po4x, and was considering changing over to GFO and Biopellet reactor... has anyone else made the shift? Thoughts?

I'm hoping to achieve a low phosphate and nitrate system, and avoid the constant need to buy no3po4x... I'm currently running elevated alk to accelerate growth... been running all at 12.6 and calcium at 460... seems to be working... also setting up a 30 gallon tank attached to the system that will be my refugium... hoping it will be large enough to remove nutrients without any other processesWhy do you want to?
I suspect that if you do it properly, and get the right amount dialed in, you wouldn't notice a difference, except that phosphate will be lower if you use GFO with either organic carbon method.![]()
