Care to share - Your under tank shots!

I am looking to clean up my mess of a tank stand. I am adding the final (who am I kidding right????

) pieces of the puzzle and I'd love to see your well organized under tank shots (of course please feel free to share fish rooms and things like that to make us all jealous!

Here is where I am at now. Those wires are priority #1!!!!!! I was embarrassed to even share, but it should help show a before/after.

I forgot to mention I am going to a a BRS 2 part dosing system and I think I'm going to do it along the right wall where my power is now, and move my Apex EB-8's to the other side. I also have this snazzy Alk/Calc holder that will go below the pumps.

If I show you mine having done the stupid thing and having a short stand you'll wonder how in the world I get in there... That's why I have zero pictures of it Haha

I actually really like yours. There was definitely planning there rather than throwing everything in like a lot of us do...

Below my tank is just the sump....and not overly organized.

The sump is a DIY 40 Breeder with two drains entering the sump in each of the back corners. In the left compartment is a 7" filter sock, skimmer and one heater. In the middle section is the return pump, the Cobalt pump for the GFO/Carbon reactor, one heater and a biopellet reactor. On the right compartment is a deep sand bed and refugium. Just outside the sump, on the far right, is a BRS dual reactor....now with just carbon.

My "equipment" is in a cabinet just next to the tank, with the middle section holding the electronics:

And the bottom section holding the dosing pumps and solutions:

@redfishbluefish I love it! Great idea building the cabinet to hold all of the equipment. Like you I have an external area for my controls, but I am going to try my hardest to jam pack my dosing equipment into the stand as well. :/ I'm totally ripping off your idea to angle those dosers. That's genius. (assuming you don't mind of course!)

You can rip off my idea with the condition that you tell my wife that you think I'm a genius! Just be prepared that she'll most likely laugh in your face.

Anyone else have some shots they'd like to share? I spent the night moving my power to the other side only to figure out it's far to close to my "to sump lines" and I'm not comfortable with the potential fire risk. In the end a big step back for me

@reefjunkieken Gorgeous setup! Room for a mini fridge!!!!! DROOL. I love the idea to hang the most used tools on the stand doors, thank you for that idea. What is that black thing going into the bottom on the Right side?

do you get any noise out of the 90 degrees angles in the PVC? I am about to replumb using colored PVC (going blue) and I would be a lot more convenient to run a couple 90 degree angles this time around.

I would guess it's that light he has on the left side (he must have moved it)...

Thanks it took a lot of planning. Let me start with a bit of advice... using the color pvc do your self a favor and skuff up the ends of the pipe before you apply the primer and glue. The high gloss finish makes it harder for them to seal properly.

As far as noise I don't get much from the drains. The tank is actually pretty quiet considering I turnover aprox 3000 gph. My skimmer is the loudest part of my setup.

The black thing is the base of a led light that I'm using for under the tank temporarily. My next upgrade is adding led strips under there that operates on pressure switches so they turn on when I open the doors

Question. Is that Chaeto in the fuge? Do you have any idea why its floats? Every time I buy some it does the same thing.
