Is there a reason for not feeding silversides? I always see them in lfs/Petco frozen food sectionRaw thawed meaty sea food, fish, shrimp, scallops....do not do silver sides.
I had a green carpet anemone. It was beautiful. It had a very expensive diet of reef fishes snails, shrimp, etc. Then it grew to 2 feet wide and started moving around the tank on a killing spree.I have been debating a carpet anemone for a while but can't decide whether to pull the trigger. For those that have/had ones, what have your experiences been?

My personal experience is that anemones expel silver sides more often.
Hobbyist that keep multiple anemones report increased incidence of bacterial infections.
There are better foods. Tiny pieces of shrimp, scallops, cod.
An anemone in the wild is not catching and eating fish routinely.
Buy the way they live for 300 years!
