Carpet anemone

Before going on to step 3 let's circle back to step 1 and make sure you have the proper lighting that will be required.
Gotcha, dude I think I’m just gonna skip on nems in general, really expensive, and seem pretty hard to care for, I don’t have a lot of time to care for one and don’t want to mess it up. Maybe a future thing I’ll look into. Thank you guys though.

Dude thanks for telling me that. I feel the same way about starfish and certain inverts and fish. Did not know they were not captive bred. I won’t bother with them now. I think I’ll just get another clownfish. Thanks.
You should Probably take that above comment with a grain of salt.

There are Some true statements in there such as stability requirements that are echoed by others here that successfully have kept them for decades.

Essentially everything else was anecdotal personal opinion, while calling out anecdotal personal opinions..

Carpets not being suitable for a home aquarium, Is just a lie.

Ok, thanks. BTA’s are fairly easy to take care for? I just dont want to have alot to care for. I know I sound lazy but I just Want something cool for my tank. Will it nuke my tank if it dies?
Make sure all your intakes and power heads are shielded so the anemone doesn’t get chewed up. More than likely it will move around your tank until it decides to settle. I got a BTA and all I did was stress out. I had corals in the tank and I was nervous all the time. I got rid of the BTA and was finally able to relax. Lol
I thought I wanted a BTA until I got one….They aren’t for everybody. Just stressed me out.

Good call

the other major thing that no one mentioned about carpet anemones is that they WILL eat your fish! If a fish spooks if the lights suddenly turn off, or, you put your hand in your tank, it could accidentally run right into it and get eaten :( New additions (when you first drop them in the tank) are especially at risk for spooking and running into them!
