Cc24k Holy Grail Torch

So does this mean all the illegitimate lineaged cc24ks are coming down? I’d be happy with 1/2 price, hit me up
Don’t know about that , even tho many have it many also kill it or scared to cut it since they paid so much , it will be high market price for a while , it’s still hard to find people willing to sell there’s.

Yeah I was being facetious. It's like all the designer nems - pricing is half what it was on stuff like sunbursts a couple years back. I'm sure in time torches will come down in price, even the ASD / CC24K "collector" pieces, as they grow in more peoples tanks. . Sellers are doing a pretty good job keeping the price high with demand in the interim. Best I can get a fresh cut ASD HG for is $800

Your CC keep that bright gold coloration? I have two separate pieces purchased from two reputable sellers.

Both came in looking just like yours. Both are not as bright now and just look like any other nice HG.
This thread is pretty funny. Still the quote above speaks volume. People can purchase where and with whom they would like. However, liniage is liniage and can not be disputed and getting a head directly from the original mother colony is the ONLY way to insuring they are getting the real deal and the best chance of success. Otherwise its easy to read the many comments online like the one above of what happens to some people. I get countless communications of people with the same or worse expierience with loss of color buying elsewhere or length of tentacles that become short and stocky ect as BobbyClien posted above or even worse. There are people that have contacted me that I know purchased wild colonies and then contact me to sell them a head so they can pass thier wilds as a real CoralCruze Holy Grail. Be careful, thats the ugly side of this hobby I guess. There are a few that were able to grow out the cc24k with the coloration and even more importantly the signature curley cue very longggg tentacles you see in my mother colony I posted. If you want smooth stocky, short tentacles there is ASD HG that is way less expensive than the CoralCruze 24k HG... for a reason. I realize that some people may ignore these facts if they so choose to save a buck. The guys and gals that place value on thier one of a kind gems wont do that as they know that in this hobby you really do get what you pay for.

At the end of the day, the ONLY CoralCruze CC24K original colony in existence is in my tank and looking just a nice as ever.

lol

Your response is basically, “it can only come from my tank…. BUT it does very poorly in other peoples tanks and isn’t the same thing when propagated anywhere else but the MoThEr CoLoNy…. so it can only come from my tank”

Only a “few that were able to grow out the cc24k with the coloration” from the frags you continuously sell? That’s your attempt at sales? How is that any better than a “fake“ one?

:D:face-with-tears-of-joy::rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

No one needs lineage explained to them, it’s the same for every single other high end aquacultured coral, and people take the same exact risk.

Stop pouting that other people have this coral and are growing it well and also selling it. You had two choices, never sell it, or this, But obviously greed won, which is OK, but stop your nonsense.

So are we gonna start a registration like the akc but for corals? Ya’ll are f’in nuts for paying that much for coral!
Pretty sure most who do think they can sell frags and make it back, and maybe more. It’s a gamble. But that obviously makes Mr. CC cranky. “Only buy! No sell!”

We’re nuts but I paid a lot and made over 10k in profit from it already very very good investment.

And only buy from him , OR ELSE … He is very angwyyyyyy

I get it. Shame on the people who misrepresent the lineage to make a profit.
But we aren’t going to say that if it didn’t come from the source it isn’t the real deal. That would be like saying to everyone, “If you didn’t buy your Oregon tort in Oregon, I’m sorry to say it ain’t the real deal.”

The whole thing is ridiculous these days. Paying obscene amounts for a coral with a “ super duper hyperactive fabuloso” in front of the name. It’s gone from recreating a slice of the ocean to who can collect the coolest/rarest Pokémon.

Additionally, you see people buy a designer frag, transform it into something that looks slightly different from the original by blasting it with blue light, and then sell it as a whole new strain or whatever you want to call it.

I 100 percent would sell frags to cover the cost. and if one came across that was reasonably priced with verifiable lineage like OP I would buy it.

I don’t disagree it has gone to insane levels, but most of those corals are more than just a name and are truly the best looking of each variety. I will hold my tongue on various high end mushroom corals or zoas, for instance, though.

Attitudes like this makes me wish I had the funds because I would buy some and sell it cheap AF just to devalue it

Agreed. We have a guy on FB trying to sell I think it was the “holiest of grails holy grails torch” like seriously? Best part he used his phone with no filter and it was a green torch. Add the filter and some photo editing and boom it was just another yellow torch

I am on a verge of making a lot of people angry. This lineage is kind of going insane.
From what I gather from a select few posts....
My dobermann is not a dobermann because I did not buy directly from Friedrich Louis Dobermann.

Can we get a coral club to start making sure these corals are registered and pedigreed, lineage documented?

No need , if you’re a trusted seller you have all the lineage that goes back to the original owner so you know it’s the real deal.
