Cheap corals online

same here, but not quite as drab. my closest real store is 45 minutes away without Philly traffic. if I hit Philly traffic by 322/chester, it's an hour, hour 15 each way. It sucks, but I've never lost a fish from there as their displays are all laced with copper, except the coral system, and the salinity is rock solid 1.025.

Online is definitely more convenient, especially since the LFS that was local, where I would routinely get nice corals for $10 shut down in January.

Hey pdiehm. Where do you go? I’m around West Chester and there’s a small store in Exton/Frazer, otherwise we’re hauling out to That Fish Place. Just went to Frags2Fishes in Landenberg last Saturday-good selection for a start up. I’m just starting and would love to find another place.

Outside of philly as well. Bucks county needs a reef club !

Mini Reef in Prospect Park. Not the cheapest, but never have had any issues with any fish I have gotten from there. I lost another Barrier Reef Chromis last night from Live Aquaria. Ordered 8, have 6 now.

That Fish Place doesn't ever have online inventory, so I have completely written them off. Too far to drive on a whim. Never heard of Frags2Fishes, may have to check them out, about a 30 minute ride.

It’s literally in the owners house and only open on saturdays. He’s building an online inventory.....But he was a knowledgeable and nice guy with some good connections.

You can try neonreefs.com and aquariumdepot.com for cheap coral frags. Never ordered from NR but ordered once from AD for my 5 gallon nano. Corals and live stock arrived alive. AD also does different promotions during the week like 50% off.

I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and there are no LFS or groups that have decent coral within driving distance so I'm force to order online.
Quick noob question ;)
How were you able to order from AD online? Their main site appears to sell in-store only, or at least doesn't look to have any links available for online shopping.

Take a road trip to a frag swap and stock your whole tank. Cheaper and more fun.

What’s the best way to connect with people in my area selling frags?

There's many local reef clubs. In Ohio, I can think of at least 3. Where are you located?

Atlanta.. I have access to 4 LFS .. one has a great selection.. I ordered 3 frags online they aren’t opening.. I think going stick with my LFS
Thx for the reply!
