Cheap Corals? What corals are cheap?

What are some cheap corals that I can use i dont want expensive ones yet
-Gsp (green star polyps) but should be contained on its own rock or etc.. I like it on my back glass.
- toad stool leather. Mine is neon green polyps. I love it
- zoas. But can cover everything they can touch
- mushrooms but can multiply fast
- galaxia. But can produce really long sweepers
- chalice.
Montiopora but can encrust over glass/rock I love them anyway.
- pocillipora. But can spawn new babies that show up in the tank
- stylopora.

The ones I listed above are often lower priced and some consider weeds or etc but they can be really nice. Just research them along with others. They often grow the easiest in my experience

My LFS sells 10 dollar frags. Some zoas are around there and fairly hardy, thats what I started with! And colorful.

Yes it does! You can always get them online but I suggest looking around to see what store is the best for corals! Ive got two trusted stores, one for fish and one for corals

they are very colurful i will definitely get those

Any others you have in mind is a condylactidy anemone good
Wait on nems, at least 7 months if not more and start with BTAs (bubble tip anemones) since they are the “easiest”. Nems require a very mature tank and are more difficult to care for. If you want an anemone try rock flower anemones, super colorful and easy to care for

K ill look at them

Don't put anything in tank you don't potentially want in there permanently. Or plan ahead by isolating off on an island rock or great rack. Some corals are easier to move/ remove than others.

That said, I like zoas as a starter coral. Variety of prices/ style available and pretty hardy. I've also had good luck with Monti caps which are usually cheap and easy if given the right light.

Depends what long term goal and budget is. 10 gal isn't large so if doing softies/ lps you can probably get away with a cheaper/ budget light. I used AI primes on my first tank which was a 40 breeder. On my 25 I have one Ecotech Radion XR15 pro. If I were to do another tank id go with the radions cause they're great and can do whatever you need. But I've been really interested in those AI blades also.

im going to a 20 instead i meant

I have a ton of easy corals that look cool too. One easy one that’s not very light demanding and I think are underestimated is Cyphastrea. They come in great colors. And are fairly different from the starter Zoa, softy, mushroom standards.
