I use this for my 29g biocube refugium. I attached outside with velcro. It works great. Chaeto grows double every 2 weeks.

I may be ending the cheato days in my Fluval 13.5.

Things grew too well!!! Lol. I’m considering just Purigen. But that’s your light! Works amazingly well!

your not kidding....I think im going on 4 days now 24hrs a day...just had to trim the cheato down...stuff was packed into my HOB...crazy how fast its growing

Lol yup!!!! I actually ditched it. It clogged my
Pump and reduced flow too much with the intank basket and floss in chamber 1. Not that I wanted too. But I had a heater almost melted. So chamber 2 is reserved for the heater. Trim it but you can frag that stuff like crazy. Small tank. So levels are always present. Grows!!!!!! I’m using Purigen now. As long as you stay on it it’s a worthy refugium etc. other option is to reduce the lighting. I try to go a week with out trimming. Water change day. Lol 4 days sounds about right lol.

I don’t blame the Chaeto for what happened it was a combination of things and this tank wants a daily floss change. If you have the Intank basket. Otherwise it drops the other two levels.

Take the sponge out of the pump. It’s a nitrate factory. Trim when the cheato starts to grow forwards that opening to chamber 3. Replace intanks filter floss daily and you won’t have any issues and it works well.

How much chaeto do you remove? 50%? 40%?

I'm looking for a way to not light my office up pink My sump section is open.

Mutually exclusive. You need bright pink for best growth.
Run it when out of the office.

Have had great growth with this.

This is the best light I have ever come across. It beats about everything, even my hundreds of dollars kessil designed specifically for fuge. Only thing that can beat it are my Radions.

i looking thru odl threads for fuge lights and the link doesn't work anymore. Dpo you have a name for this light?
