many rocks are glued, i can't move a lotThe tang thinks the whole tank is its territory. If you disrupt the rocks, it will get confused. This will help with aggression.

Do you have a sump? It can be reloaded to temporarily?many rocks are glued, i can't move a lot
Yes, I have a sump, but for what ? It's not clear ...Do you have a sump? It can be reloaded to temporarily?
Stress and copper band is not a good mixture.
The only other thing I can think of is someone in another thread mentioned having aggression issues until they switched what they were feeding. You could give that a shot, but I'd guess the odds of success are low.
I'm not an expert, but I'd guess if you take the CBB out for a week, it will just start getting attacked again when you put it back in. You really need to disrupt the tang, not the CBB here.
This is centimeters, I assume?120x70x50
this tang is here from 6 months or so.
the copperband from 2 days
My scopas did the same thing, it doesn’t directly kill the CBB but it will stress it until the fish is on deaths door.I hope you are wrong
When I saw my damsel killing another damsel, it was fighitng it every day, following everywhere with no stop.
This one seems to be a little bit more pacific, it doesn't follow the CBB, it just defend it's territory (as big as the tank![]()
) but when the CBB is in the corner, the tangs goes away. Sometimes cames back just to see without biting and without dosing anything harmful , just to see what's happening.
So, I think there is a chance... when lights are off (only tank light, room light still on) , the tang stops immediatly to fight and just ignore the CBB

I would just get rid of the Atlantic blue, since it needs a ton of space.
You need Atleast a 6’ for an Acanthurus tang, personally I think this tang needs Atleast 7’ if not 8’ of tank though. They get big, aggressive and tall as well.centimeters but i have plan to increase the size
Its not going to be a fun process, but weve all had to do it at one point. If you decide getting rid of the tang is what you want to do, try and see if your LFS will give you some credit for it.trapping the tang is almost impossible...
let's see in the next couple of days. Its not going to be a fun process, but weve all had to do it at one point. If you decide getting rid of the tang is what you want to do, try and see if your LFS will give you some credit for it.

How big are you thinking, and when?centimeters but i have plan to increase the size
Probably 180x80x50, less than a year. How big are you thinking, and when?
I have not seen, in person or pics on the internet, a healthy adult Atlantic blue outside of snorkeling in the Caribbean or at a public aquarium.
