One last question... Is this a futile effort? Will these 3 Chromis be plagued with this forever?
Ok, I know, that was 2 last questions
Again I appreciate all the help and advice. This truly is a great forum, with caring people.
I'm not gonna lie, uronema can be a very difficult disease to treat. I've successfully used CP to treat chromis with active infections, added them to my DT and all was good. Back in the day I used formalin baths to treat it but sometimes the disease would return. In hindsight, I should have spent more time experimenting with metronidazole, but CP seemed to clear it so easily and that made me lazy.
But I know metro works because some LFS and one public aquarium I advise use that drug to treat all incoming damsels who show symptoms. The public aquarium then places those fish in a large display and they all look fine.Glad you are liking our little slice of heaven.
