@vetteguy53081 I finally took the rock out and used a q-tip to brush vinegar directly on the sponge all over the rock. I will see how it looks tomorrow.

@vetteguy53081 Looks like it is starting to die off. May take 2-3 days? If it does it is easy enough to remove the rock and do another treatment.
