Just upgraded to a waterbox peninsula 4820. Everytime your hand/ instrument comes out of tank, saltwater streaks develop on the exterior. Kind of OCD about keeping it clean.
Would like to know what people use for the EXTERIOR glass cleaning.
What type of cloth and spray?

I just use a $5 bottle of (non-aerosol) automotive glass cleaner and a microfiber towel.
as an added bonus, its smells great too.

I use windex and microfiber towel

I use RO, wipe it down with clean towel, wait a sec to dry, buff with another dry towel to remove streaks.

Sprayway World's Best Glass Cleaner, I like it bc it's ammonia free. Works well with tinted automotive windows too. Really is streakless! I just angle it down away from the top of the tank give it a light spray then wipe with a paper towel.

Super Clean the glass with MicroFiber Towel** Apply Three Coats of RainX to the Glass. Do not Spray the Paper Towel or Cloth with RainX in the same room as your Aquarium is in, or do the top, not sure of the Toxicity. I haven’t had any problem, spraying away from the tank. I actually prefer the squirt bottle.
** Never use Fabric Softener on MicroFiber, it will leave a streaked mess. And hide them from Spouse and Furniture Polish.

Ammonia free windex sprayed on paper towel. Then I do a second pass with a micro fiber towel.

A Damp microfiber cloth followed by a dry microfiber cloth made for glass. Finger print and smudge free with no chemicals or effort.
