Cleaning Exterior Glass- what are you using?

Fritz glass cleaner. It has some sort of "wax" or additive that makes it super easy to use my glass cleaners. It'such appreciated on 3/4 in. glass. Magnetic cleaner slides like butter.

Ammonia free windex sprayed on paper towel. Then I do a second pass with a micro fiber towel.

I was using windex this way, but was concerned about the chemicals and seems like it was still hard to keep it clean.

Norwex blue and purple cloths with water. Best glass, mirror windshield cleaners ever. No streaks, no chemicals.

I use water and paper towels. That's what I use on pretty much all glass. No chemicals, no odors, doesn't hurt when I get it in my eyes...

Never thought to use the RODI water, makes sense. No issues with streaking?

nope, if there is a lot of salt on it, cause i haven't done it in a while or spilled a lot then might have to do 2 passes.

Yea Windex alone doesn't do the trick (make sure you are using ammonia free windex), thats why I do the second pass with the micro fiber and that makes it crystal clear.

Just upgraded to a waterbox peninsula 4820. Everytime your hand/ instrument comes out of tank, saltwater streaks develop on the exterior. Kind of OCD about keeping it clean.
Would like to know what people use for the EXTERIOR glass cleaning.
What type of cloth and spray?

Best way in my opinion is isopropyl alcohol and a clean microfiber towel. it evaporates quickly, easily dissolves any residue on glass and is much safer than any windex type solution
