could try lowering the pumps to avoid making less of a wave? adjust the overflow gate? any reason you guys dont try a simliar product to what im uses for their screen top? ithat wouldnt bow if water hit it
I think the IM screen could definitely be good for rigidity, but I'm not sure if there is any (measurable) difference in light obstruction/penetration.

Do you make these lids for the Cardiff?

Yes we can. However we have not built one yet so we would need a template of your tank. Other customers that have complex lids have sent cardboard templates that we can use to program the CNC with. If you would like to go that route you can email us at [email protected]. Thank you very much for your question.

@Incredible Corals when should I expect to hear from you guys regarding my lid order for measurements and such? It's only been a couple weeks but I'm just curious. Do you guys need the measurements even though you already have a template for the Red Sea Reefer 250? I also requested 2 cutouts for the Radion RMS mounts for the XR15s but I only mentioned how far out the light mount sits, I didn't include any measurement on how large the cutout needs to be because I figured you guys might have that figured out already.

We usually reach out to you the about 48 hours before we are ready to lay our your specific material, program the CNC and have the cutting started. We reach out to every person before cutting just to make sure you got everything you need for your tank and didn't forget any cutouts etc.

What we have found that is very surprising is how many glass tanks are out of square. Some easily a 1/2" off. So even on factory style tanks we ask customer to double check measurements.

Thank you everyone!

Absolutely love my cover. Thank you very much

WE NEED YOUR PICTURES!

Please share your pics of your ClearView Lid.

We would love to feature them on our website!

Simply post the pics here and what kind of tank the lid is sitting on.

:)

Ugh - I want one of these! I essentially have a screen door sitting on top of my tank right now.

The 6 week wait needs to go by faster! I'm getting tired of finding nerite snails roaming my living room floor every day..

I've been thinking about getting the cadlights artisan II 125 frame with a feeding area .. but .. I wanted to ask if it's possible to get another feeding tray built in?

I use a Reefsicle to feed during the day and I want to make sure I'm able to use it if I were to get this frame. I'd say it's about 3"x3", I'll have to measure it when I get home.

The Reefsicle is usually good for about 8 hours. It'd be nice if it had a dedicated feeding area, with a lid that I can put over it when not in use.
