I got a magnificent foxface and noticed that his eyes were a little cloudy. His eyesight isn't affected at all i don't think. Do i need to treat it at all? What should i do about that?

Is he in QT? Some times foxfaces have what looks like a cloudy eye, but in reality its just a dark eye.

Your's does seem to be a bit cloudy however. What have you treated for, how long have you had him and are there any other symptoms to go along with the eyes? Can you do a freshwater dip to check for flukes?

any other abnormal behavior? Cryptic (more so than usual)?, hiding from light, swimming in to powerheads? Discoloration (aside from normal night or stress patterns of foxface?), dustings? Spots? Breathing heavily? Scratching? Flashing?

I agree the eyes are more cloudy than I would say is normal even for foxface.

Have you tested ammonia with an ammonia badge?

Looks like the eyes of my fish when I got flukes. Any head twitching? A fresh water dip will confirm if it's flukes. The start to peel off right away and you can see them. They look like sesame seeds.

I noticed today he had some Brown little spots on him. I believe it's flukes. I can treat with prazi pro right? @Humblefish @melypr1985
You should really do a fresh water dip to confirm in my opinion.

My Magnificent Foxface eyes look almost as cloudy as yours when he is going into what i call "camouflage mode". They clear up nicely when he is displaying his normal colors.

Brown spots don't indicate flukes to me. Did you ever do a freshwater dip? I agree with Brew that it should be done before treating with prazipro. I'd like new pictures of the brown spots as well, if you can.

I haven't been able to do the freshwater dip. My RO system is down but I'm going to pick up some from my lfs today.

Do you have antibiotics on hand you can use to treat with? Might be a good idea to get some if you are running out to the LFS anyway!

The dip would be the first thing to do for sure. Report back with your findings.

I did the dip and saw some of the sesame seed looking critters and also some brown oval ones also. He's is hiding right now. I'll keep you posted. Should i follow through with prazipro or no?

yes. Go ahead and dose the prazi. Turn off the skimmer and take out any carbon before doing so.
