Clown Fish keeps attacking me. Is it a sign for mating?

Good Day Everyone,

happy reefing was feeding my corals today and the female clown attack me by means of a bite continuously ...Can I suggest that she may start to hatch eggs soon?

I don't know about that, but clowns are often unfraid of their tank owners. Many associate hands with food/feeding time. When they are juveniles it feels like a nibble, once they are bigger it feels like biting.
Someone else can advise you on signs she might lay eggs. You can observe the male. He will shimmy and shake around her to try to get her to choose him as a mate.

Aggression or increased aggression is not the best indicator of a potential spawn. As clowns mature most will become aggressive even in the absence of another clown/potential mate. Spawning clowns are going to be cleaning one area relentlessly, and hanging out there, the females abdomen will appear rounded.

Maybe. Mine also just started just destroying my hands when I try to kill apstasia and majano anenomes. Hurts like heck.

Mine have never "bitten" me, but the female will take food out of my hands. Sometimes, my finger is in the way of her getting the pellets out of my grasp. It just feels like light pecking. I don't know how old they are as I got them from a trade in at a LFS. My female is over 3", so not babies. They are they most personable fish I think you can own, but they do get protective of their homes. Also, they are the 30lb bulldog of the saltwater tank world and are afraid of nothing... seriously, they will attack you, and fish that could easily eat them if they really wanted to.

I had one that actually jumped out of the tank and landed on my couch to bite me when I went to feed. I got her safely back into the tank. However, she bit me constantly and drew blood too. When I moved her from the 29 to the 210, she still went crazy and bit. I had to wear thick gloves and chase her around with a net with one hand while trying to work in the tank. She was awful.

My current pairs that are spawning dart at me, but do not bite. One pair ocellaris and the other nigripes. My clarkiis do not bite either.

I had a B/W misbar that actually bared her teeth at me and would jump out of the water to bite me (image is on photobucket :mad. She once clamped down on my hand so hard I whipped my hand out the tank, she want flying across the room and behind the couch. She was a huge dust bunny when she was returned to the tank, and she lived to bite me more times than I can count.

My clowns are still babies, sometimes I hand feed them and they bite me and it feels like a small peck. When my hands are in the tank they arent scared or bite me they are curious, they swim around my hands and brush up against my arm.

Yes, someone traded them in at one of the LFS near me. I couldn't see how someone traded them unless they were just getting out of the hobby... the female is the boss of the tank... she keeps a 4.5" Caribbean blue tang and a 3" lieutenant tang in line. But she's as nice as could be with me. Their names are Bonnie and Clyde

I got a big ol' tomato clown that is the boss of my tank. Hes always left me alone though. My yellow tail damsel on the other hand is a little turd when it comes to my arms.

Best way to describe it really. There pretty mean if your where they don't want you to be. So anywhere near them, there territories, and there anemone if you have one.
