Clown Fish keeps attacking me. Is it a sign for mating?

In my personal experience some clowns are just mean, i have been attacked by several different clowns most of which were not paired, one just didn't like me in his tank and he got me every time I cleaned it. they can hit hard, enough to make you jump. They can be a bit territorial. Especially if they have been raised in a lightly stocked tank, they definitely seem to be more forgiving in larger communities. An increase in aggression is common in spawning behavior but not necessarily indicative of it.
