@Montu Is he dead or alive? In addition to the splotches, it looks like something (bacterial) is eating away at his tail fin.

Dead, the fins did not look like that 24 hours ago..at least not that obvious

But while I normally observe quite a bit it's been very minimal the past 4 days or so

Thanks, no other recommend action due to the wrasse?

I restarted the clock on the copper since I messed up during a water change but I was thinking of keeping it going until the fallow period is up.

Not unless you think the hawkfish is showing signs of a bacterial infection. His immune system is probably good enough to fight off the bacteria on it's own.
