Clownfish biting my hand

Hello everyone, my clownfish has been biting my hand everytime I try to spot feed my corals and it is really bothering me is there any gloves I can buy that will help me not feel the bites so I can continue to feed my corals in peace? Thanks!

Most clowns are aggressive little buggers! Unless she is drawing blood I would let her bite away...

My clowns do this whenever I get close to their "home" just protecting their territory. Unless they draw blood I pay no mind to it

What species of clowns do you have? The smaller species don't usually hurt too much....but they do tend to startle you if you don't see it coming. The larger species like maroons can pack a little more punch.

My true perc does this. Goes right for the webbing between my fingers too.

Any old latex gloves should provide you with enough insulation from the little bugger.

I used to have an ocellaris clown that would nip at me anytime I put my hand in the tank.

Clowns are a sub-family of the damsel fish. That speaks volumes about their attitude.

Yep, we have a pair that attacks me everytime my hand goes in. Sometimes I can sit on the couch and swear the are watching me, waiting for me, devising a plan on how and when to attack!

Chase it around the tank for a bit. Show it you aren’t scared and generally it will learn it’s place. You will need to remind it occasionally.
