Clownfish fat lip or underbite?

it kinda seems like the start of a small bump on that left side. thanks for the heads up tho, i will keep an eye on it. I eventually wanted to breed but Wont be now. He wasn't interested in the first feeding today just to note also.

Ok. The bump -if it develops into a bump- will be a problem. I've seen lots of clowns get this, though I dont have a name for it. It's an infection of some sort. I've had to treat with a trio of meds to cure it: kanaplex, metroplex, furan 2. I haven't seen it come back after treatment, but I have lost a few that I didn't treat soon enough after noticing the bump. The bumps are always on the chin or lip as far as I can tell as well. Get him eating and get ready to treat in a QT.

Just got her this morning. tried mysis first since the smaller maroon isn't taking pellets yet. Any suggestions to try?

If you just got her I'd wait a little on feeding. but keep an eye on that lip for fuzz. Mouth Rot. I've seen a lot of bread clown fish with wired mouths. My clowns like spiralina brine shrimp and small pieces of fresh table shrimp.

white. But for now it seems OK from the pic's,I do see that little bump, that could just be net damage and should heel on its own.

Thanks for the check up! He's doing much better! I think he just needed some time to adjust. finally eating since last week. His color has darkened up nicely over the past few days compared to the light orange he was.

Concerning the lip, I think it was a combination of the shipping and possibly an injury. It has since cleared up.
