Clownfish sleeping in the corners or floating

Ok so Im just wondering do clownfish like to go towards the top and almost float or go in the corners at night time when lights are off??

i made the mistake of looking at my tank at night with a flashlight, clownfish are terrifying if doing that

the male legit had his tail like partly in the overflow pointing straight downward

Mine do it too. Its wierd when i hear them make popping noises when they attack the water surface

Mine does that too, but he knows if he goes after it before the lady gets hers first he’s in for some hurting.

Clowns without a host anemone usualy pick a corner or substitute host and stay fairly close to it IME. That could be a corner of the tank, a power head, overflow or random coral. I wouldn't sweat it.

Mine sleep at the surface in the corner by the overflow. They also spend most of the day near the top seeing how much water they can splash down the back of my tank.

Mine does that too, but he knows if he goes after it before the lady gets hers first he’s in for some hurting.
