I've seen people use CP as shorthand for copper. It can cause confusion.

forget about CP since you are using copper. I'm pretty sure he was referring to copper both times. I forget what the bottle says on the ruby reef rally, but I have doubled the dose for a dip and done just fine. I do these dips every time we get clowns in at the store.

edit: I bet humble could give you the exact dose, but I just can't remember what it is. I do know that I've doubled what the bottle says.

You'll be fine with 1.5 - 2 teaspoons of Rally in a 2 gallon bucket. That stuff is really hard to overdose. Do the bath for 90 minutes and aerate heavily + temperature control the water.

That's exactly what I did humble fish!! I just put them in my qt with copper at 0.5 using seifert... I can't catch my goby he's hiding under the rocks since all the commotion

You can drain all the water out and with only an inch or two he will be easy to catch.

The dip wont do anything for things like velvet or ick. If you want to add, do it now at the beginning of the fallow period.

Yes, but if a parasite tomont happened to be encysted to the coral... that would restart your fallow period. This explains in more detail (scroll down to Understanding Ich): https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/ich-cryptocaryon-irritans.191226/

I highly doubt bayer or any other coral dip eradicates tomonts; as not even copper, mild chlorine, etc. can do that.
