Code Enforcement busting my chops about my tanks in garage!

Got a visit this morning from code enforcement that someone "2" complaining about my tanks. Had a nice conversation with the lady that this is my hobby and dont want to hear any lip from the neighbors. Its cool for them to have 2-3 dogs in back yard with dog houses but i cant keep aquariums in my own garage? But im sure i can keep 20 cats or birds or some other animals right? Duh well ya, So i take the tanks a little over the top. No baby tanks at this house my sump is 300 gallons. So what when i hit garage opener at night the tanks light up the street it looks nice. Bottomline these "fish" live in glass aquariums and they need equipment to run pumps,lights,skimmers,chillers. Sure i could put 1,400 gallons in my living room but its not going to happen because its MY HOUSE. I will put a tank where ever the hell i want..Period THATS WHY I HAVE A HOUSE AND NO HOME ASSOCIATION.
Flat out told them tuff **** tanks stay if neighbors want to give up there pets then maybe i will think about moving tanks..Till then feel free to stop by and check out some cool aquariums.

How could that possibly disturb them. What, do they lay awake at night and think about all those horrible tanks. LOL

I hate busy body neighbors. I had one neighbor who told the landscapers to change the layouts of the trees when there was no one at home to stop her! They actually listened to her and put the trees and plants where she could see them from her window. :mad2:

What do you guys think? Too much Aquarium for a little house?
I am going to do a write up on this project, still have long way to go. Been too busy lately
Everything runs together 1,400 gallons total 550 octo makes a 200gallon surge every 30-45 mins. Everything runs off of one modified reef-flo hammerhead.
I build both frag tanks myself using glass from broken tanks. 72x30x15 5/8 glass. 96x24x12 1/2 starfire. The tall tank is 265gal and 300 Rubbermaid then 550 container.
In picture on top of container i built a 16 bulb T-5 still have to hang it over the 300. Like i said still not finished. Also running double 3/4hp chillers

One more tank this one is opposite the 265. The smaller container is for Kalk....
Still have a good amount left,,waiting on skimmer and in process of building the sweetest reactors 10in wide x 40in tall glass tubes. Electrical needs to be finished along with all the timmers and the Neptune monitor. Been 2 months work and guessing maybe another month or so left...
Waiting now for some stupid letter to show up from the city with there "thoughts" on my garage. If my reef goes so do all the dogs,cats and birds on the block I will bag them myself.

Good for you to stand up for yourself! Some folks coward n take it. Funny how people always have to cry about something. Love'n the garage by the way.
