Cogboy RSR 250 Build

Looking good. Great idea on the vent grate at the back of the stand.

Looks great! Good luck! I know the price A/OCD type pay, its a blessing and a curse, went through that myself with my build below!
lol...no doubt.......absolutely love your build....I have had it bookmarked for a while now and it was one of the reasons I went the route im going.

Love the setup looks great. Did you build those cabinets from scratch? Looking to do the same thing with my rsr250, but not that handy.
Thx! My old man is really handy and he put them together for me......although I have seen some great setups using prefabbed ikea and HD cabinets that would work just as well.

Allright, so doors are in....loved the way they turned out with the brushed metal screens. Also picked up a few goodies for the next part of the build!

Installed false wall in control cabinet to left of stand.....mounted most of equipment. Left room for ATO and Leak detection control at bottom. First go at aquascape......wanted to go with fairly minimal rock......may change position of Nero pumps to sides of tank at later date.

Allright, so finally made some more progress. Set up RODI, finished wiring cabinet. Did a fill....no leaks!!! Salt mixed, brought up to temp and started breaking in curve 5 skimmer (did vinegar bath for half a day then rinsed in RODI). Should have done better job at rinsing sand, but eventually got it cleared up. Fine tuning COR 15 and Nero's. Dosed Prodibio Startup. Have cover I need to build, then set up ATO pump and sensors.
