Colored pvc

I have a DC pump so it has a controller. I have really good flow and it's not even at 50%. Plus it goes through my manifold feeding my UV sterilizer and soon my reactor

Did I need colored pvc??? no..... but it looks awesome!! I went the BRS route for mine and since I didn't need long runs of pipe, the cost factor wasn't really anything to worry about. Plumbing does add up though, Especially with those sch. 80 fittings and valves!!!

Good luck, let us know how it turns out!

Nice job!

I am thinking about Orange and Blue for a R2R theme!

Looking through plumbing pics I notice a lot of 90 degree angles. When I started reefing 90's were frowned upon for their restriction.

Do people not care or have pumps become powerful enough to overcome that issue?

I have not used any 90 degree corners, I used a sweeping 90, but I think people just calculate the head loss and get a bigger pump.

I love the look of colored PVC, only question, where are you guys sourcing your colored PVC fittings and valves?

Got all of my valves from Lowes, and my special y fittings and 22.5 online. I drew up up my diagram on paper 1st and then I ordered all the parts.
