Completely new and in over my head..

Hi everyone,

I've been using the forums for a while now to soak up as much information as possible, so I figured I should finally introduce myself. I'm an absolute beginner to aquariums in general and took over a 220G reef tank when I moved into my new house. I'm starting to think that was a mistake. I'm reading everything I can and watching BRS videos but I'm terrified I'm going to kill everything before I get this down. I'm incredibly grateful for any advice given.
Here's a list I was given of the tank specs:

• 210 Reef ready Aquarium
• 75-gallon custom refugium
• 220 Reef Octopus Protein Skimmer
• 2 X Mag 18 Return Pumps
• ½ Horsepower Aquarium Chiller (JBJ Arctica Titanium Chiller)
• 1 Hydor Koralia Powerhead
• 2 system JBJ Powerheads
• 2 X SB Reef Lights (REEF BLUE)
• 3 X AI Prime+HD LED Lights
• TOSHIBA A/C wall Unit
• ATO (Automatic Top Off System) with 10-gallon reservoir
• 36Watt Coralife Turbo-Twist UV Sterilizer
• 225 pounds of live rock
• AI NERO Powerhead

Welcome.. Advice that I can give is don't freak out or over react if you see any changes and patience is your friend. Also remember that water changes are better than adding anything and can help keep things stable until you get used to things. If you have any questions or problems we are here to help

Welcome to R2R! That tank looks good. Only advice I can give is do whatever the previous owner was doing to the best of your ability and then ask questions as you learn or have issues. Starting with an established tank is both easier and harder than starting fresh but you have a really nice fish load and aquascape. Relax, enjoy and above all don't panic. More problems are caused by panic responses to actually small problems than just about any other cause.

I believe it's about 12 years old which is why I'm terrified of destroying it.

Youll do fine! As others have said dont make any drastic changes, keep calm, and when in doubt test your water.
