Confirm dinos ?

I have kessils so it's just blues I don't go over 20%

I'm trying to have someone at home snap a photo
In the event you have it:
Factors for dino are phos and nitrate - check and verify your readings.
Prepare by starting with a water change and blow this stuff loose with a turkey baster and siphon up loose particles.
Turn lights off (at least white andd run bkue at 15%) for 5 days and at night dose 1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for all 5 nights
During the day dose 1ml of liquid bacteria (such as bacter 7) per 10 gallons.
Clean filters daily and DO NOT FEED CORAL FOODS OR ADD NOPOX as it is food for dinos.
Day 5,, you can start with blue lights - ramoing up and work your white lights up slowly

I did get home from work today, and it's not snotty or stringy at all. It's just a film over the substrate. I will continue to monitor and test & replace filter media.

I need to get a microscope any recommendations for a cheap one

I bought an Amscope M150C for around $75...it works great for identification of anything in the tank so far. I actually use it quite often.

can diatoms come and go with intensity of light like dinos?

l’ve got this atm, mine come and go with light, and also the water is cloudy, that seems to clear when the light is off too, just started to clear tonight, not sure if me adding phosguard to the tank has anything to do with it, but phosguard also removes silicates.
