I am deeply honored. As Alan Greenberg once said "I know what I don't know" and, for me, that is a lot. After almost 30 years of examining effects of lighting on marine photosynthetic organisms, there is still much to be learned. This research is a passion of mine - and I'll report findings here on R2R. Again, I am humbled for this great award.

@Dana Riddle wow that’s so awesome and very well deserved. Now that you have this out of the way, when do you plan on starting for the Presidential citizenship award and or even better the presidental medal of freedom, and if we had some physics and chemistry how about the Nobel Peace Prize. Love reading your articles and even when I was a student some of your articles were top notch and they have only been getting better.
