Cool ideas for a unused ten gallon

What I'd do is add sand, add live rock like this, and let an ecosystem develop. Would be an interesting, different experience where rather than purposefully trying to grow anything, you just keep your parameters a certain way, and see how from these starter live rock that may have plenty of life, things progress.

For once you get to just watch and observe life.
I have done this. My first SW tank was a basic 10g tank with sand and gulf live rock in it (nano pack). I had one of those old school 150w MH with tiny T5 combos you could buy. I’d have to add ice cubes all day :)

You don’t need to do water changes or really use a filter- maybe a HOB with a filter pad until the dead stuff and mud cleans out.

Tunicates, clams, little favites, and even a rose coral (which was technically my first coral). Of course bristleworms, brittle sea stars, amphipods, copepods, etc. I almost had a crab make it but he didn’t. Then again years later I got a Eunice worm in a shipment. Part of me wanted to keep her in a species only tank. The other part of me wanted to kill it with fire. I killed it with fire.

cooler for a six pack.... or maybe a cookie jar or something to put all your change into over a few years and buy a big tank...

These are all great ideas, but I think that I’m sold on the Pocillapora jungle idea. Any one know if different varieties of it can be put close to each other, or even touching each other?

Not sure, but @CherryCorals has some nice looking pocillopora that doesn't spread like crazy. CC Royale Pocillopora is the name.
