Be sure the butterfly is eating before you buy unless you are familiar with training them. That is the number one problem with them.

Be sure to quarantine it. They travel poorly and have poor survivability. I added one last week as my next to last fish and skipped the QT. Boom marine velvet and I've already lost the copperband, our coral beauty, and our favorite fish - our Midas blenny. Our Melanuras, starry and 2 clowns are hanging in there in the hospital tank, but not doing great.

If you don't have a midas, and he can coexist with your other blenny, definitely get one. It's often people's favorite fish.

Flame hawk is great without shrimp also the melanurus wrasse is good. Mine sleeps in a cup of sand like 6" deep.

I have a yellow watchmen in my wife's tank and it is hilarious. It is always hangout out towards the top corner of the tank.

I love most of the wrasses in the cirrhilabrus family. They are quite hardy, most of them are peaceful, they are reef safe, and of course, they are real beauty.

One I found in a LFS in the past months is the pylei wrasse, wich, once well acclimated, shows outstanding beauty and a really cool behavior.

I let you see my Vanuatu variation of the Pylei, I have a pair and they became quickly my favorite wrasses in my tank.

I love my Sunburst Anthias (fathead anthias)! Great character, swims a lot, but also loves the caves and holes in the rock. Sunburst Anthias do not require as much free space to swim as most anthias. They act more like a hawk fish, preferring caves over open water and will sometimes perch on the rock. But she gets along great with my 2 clownfish.

Pink Streaked Wrasse. We picked one up a couple months ago and once settled spends a good amount of time weaving in and out of the rocks and crevices. Has a hover - like swimming style and moves very precise and calculated. Fun to watch and definitely an unique and colorful fish.
