I just have Tomini & convit & foxface for larger fish & they’re all juveniles & seem to be getting along, the copperband is actually getting in the convicts face lolI had to take my CBB out of my DT and back to QT. Tangs wouldn't let him settle in. I hope you have better luck than I did.

My CBB wouldn't go to the rocks even after the aggressiveness subsided and would just swim around the top. I will have to keep mine in QT for quite some time until he's bigger and more confident.Yaa I been buying fish In pairs & acclimating in same bowl, feel it help them have a buddy when they go in & spread aggression if you have aggressive fish, seen the butterfly & angel sleeping under same rock their first night (last night)Very nice, I'm jealousMy CBB wouldn't go to the rocks even after the aggressiveness subsided and would just swim around the top. That's pretty darned bold! So is the crab being sent down to the sump as punishment?Don’t think copperband is going to make it, staying in cave during the day & breathing hard & was lucky I was watching while a emerald crab grabbed the copperbands tail and was dragging it under a rock, had to save it smh I knew I should’ve got the 300$ Australian one vs the 90$ one
Not meant to be harsh but you probably should have put the copper band in qt alone and let it settle and get eating. A cbb is not a fish that should be dumped into a tank with other fish like tangs etc right off the bat. I doubt a $300 cbb would have faired any better than a $90 fish. Lol right shocked me, he had the copperband on the sand sideways! That's pretty darned bold! So is the crab being sent down to the sump as punishment?
I def understand , seen he was eating in the store & had been there almost 2 weeks thought it would be okay, the 300$ one was eating like a tang! But yaa I had 2 mandarins no problem so thought this guy would be fine tooNot meant to be harsh but you probably should have put the copper band in qt alone and let it settle and get eating. Bad crab! I have a sally lightfood and even he doesn't give the smaller fish a second look... (and he's a good 3-4" in size).Lol right shocked me, he had the copperband on the sand sideways!

Would a mesh one be okay? Only one I have on hand, also feel like it would be more stressed since there’s nowhere to hide? I don’t think he will fit in 2” pvc either if I use that in the boxAcclimation box. Best thing to get if you don't have a qt system. You want to get the new fish eating and familiar with rest of tankmate before just letting it go hide in a hole and stressed to death.
It's worth trying (at least the crab can't get at it).Would a mesh one be okay? Only one I have on hand, also feel like it would be more stressed since there’s nowhere to hide? I don’t think he will fit in 2” pvc either if I use that in the box
Still in the shadows, turned my skimmer back on since he’s breathing hard, heard might be low on oxygenBad crab! I have a sally lightfood and even he doesn't give the smaller fish a second look... (and he's a good 3-4" in size).
Even if you went with the $300 one it's no guarantee that it would've fared any better. How is the CBB doing?
Can't hurt.Still in the shadows, turned my skimmer back on since he’s breathing hard, heard might be low on oxygen
I hope you end up lucky for the CBBs sake. Was feeling lucky/risky today
