Thank u but this is the reason I just gave up
When I plug my old vectra m1 in no sound when I plug the cor in same piping same everything I have a Hum it’s not touching anything thank you tho I appreciate the input but it’s like the guy said in the one post it’s when it goes from 1 1/4 to 3/4 it hums![]()

Interesting. Mine is virtually silent; the same as my Varios 6 when I run them at the same speed and neither have any significant vibrations. Mine is plumbed with 1 ¼" pipe all the way, so I don't know if the increased back pressure is causing the issue, or perhaps a reflected pressure wave caused by the reduction? It's also possible you have a defective unit, too.

Like I said I have a pair that I picked up from two different vendors about a month apart. Like you said they are boxed up well with shrink wrap and not a blemish on the box. The outer packing also showed no signs of mishandle. So I really don't know but mine defiantly had any marks or scuffs. Great pump though so far and both have been running since April and May (return and skimmer).
