Coral & Anenome placement.

Just know this BTA's are going to do what they want regardless what you want if you can't accept it BTA's are not for you
I know this sounds rude but I assure you it isn't intended to

It isn't rude. It is good information. Thanks everyone for this very informative conversation. This just makes it that much harder to decide the order I should stock the tank. It doesn't seem that there is a very good way to go about this. Either I get the RBTA first and risk stressing it due to the immaturity of the tank and the tank owner... or get other corals first and risk the RBTA killing them as it gets used to the tank. I realize that the BTA can move even after it's been in the tank for a while, but this seems less likely once it has settled.

I didn't realize this was going to be so tough. It isn't so much about having the BTA where I want it... it is more about having it away from corals.

Honestly corals are probably more expensive. I would seek out cheap or free corals for proof of life.

Start with couple cheap corals and slowly add a fish or 2 then wait till the bacteria increase to handle that then maybe another fish then after a little bit try the nem before loading up with corals or expensive corals. Always could use a magnetic frag rack to hold frags till ready to place after nems settled down.

Second on an elevated frag rack until the nem settles. Wait to add the nem at least two-three months. The longer the better your chances you will keep it.

i like the frag rack idea. Thanks guys. I do plan on waiting several months before adding the nem.

This is what we have for a frag station you can see it on the back glass left side and a top down outta tank pic.

That's really cool. Where can I buy this. The few I saw online have a very small magnet I like the large mahnet on the back of this one
